Earthfrisk is a Social Bookmarking, Social Networking & Social Media Hub.

EarthFrisk is a user guided community where members can network, share videos and photos all the while 'frisking' the earth for hidden links, videos, humor, articles, home pages, businesses and more. Members 'frisk' the earth much like a cop would frisk someone to see what is hidden, then share it with their fellow members who can then vote on it as well as comment. Lively debate is encouraged. Members also have at their disposal a free blog platform that is complete with feature rich aspects that are sure to impress. Members can even sell advertising on their blogs with ease with our preset display ad placements as well as text links that members can fill up or not and do with as they please.

Earthfrisk is designed for a maximum amount of freedom so it is available to anyone 18 years old or older. We are sorry if you are younger, but there are too many state and national laws to contend with concerning minors and 18 has to be our starting limit.

Why We are Here

EarthFrisk was founded on the belief that there can be a spot on the net where people can explore and share and grow and learn, without the heavy handed restrictions you so often see on other sites. A place where people can have real freedom in what they publish on their blogs, as well as control over their work.

It's a cool place to hang out, learn and grow as well as network with other people.

Being a member of EarthFrisk can benefit you in many ways. Aside from the ability to let others see your pictures and videos, as well personal pages and blogs, making friends has never been easier. Here you interact on things that matter to you. You can post your own articles or favorite links. Others will state their opinions. Maybe you have a business, well relationships can be formed here that can last for as long as you are alive. Perhaps even land you your best clients or even a business partner or two, or a hundred. Certainly you'll be making friends with some of the smartest and coolest people on the net.

Then there is the learning and exploring factor. You'll see things here you've never seen before. You'll watch things and events that will have you telling everybody about EarthFrisk. We of course don't mind that at all. The more people here, the more opportunity to learn and grow and have some fun. We took open source programs such as Pligg and Drupal, combined what we liked and will continue to add features to create and sustain our site. We are continually adding features and would welcome any suggestions in design.

Please feel free to write and submit articles in our directory. They are an easy way to get attention to your ideas or services as well as create links back to your site that can help with your search engine rankings. You can also vote on all articles in each category. The Directory can be found in the footer 9 bottom of page)

Create A Page

Hows often on sites that I or you love have we seen the spam and stupidity of others ruin a good thing? We at EarthFrisk think why make enemies of business? It is in this spirit we've created a special category here at EF where you as a small or large business owner (or Blogger or anyone really) can create your own pages, with links to your site. You can get feedback from members and this in turn can help you not only promote your business, but also improve it and make it more user friendly. This can also help you in the search engine rankings and bring more traffic to your site as we grow. See Create A Page located to the right of the Articles Tab and whether you have a business or just want to play around, you can create whole pages here to your hearts desire. For businesses, blogs or anyone! Try it out. Put up anything that you care to.

Videos

Submit your videos and place the embedded html right in EarthFrisk so our readers can watch them right here. If you want to link to a video you can do so in the regular frisk section under any topic that it covers. Also check out the video tab for the Blinkx wall where you can search all of the videos on multiple sites at once. The wall looks a lot like that video wall in Matrix. You can now also create your own video playlist right on your profile page. Your personal and free blog also enables you to place videos there as well as create a complete playlist of all of your videos right in one location.

Profiles

We've expanded the profiles so that members can link to all of their networked pages on sites such as Facebook, Myspace and others. We are not afraid to let you do whatever you want with your profile pages. You can also now submit videos ( upload) for others to see as well as create an easy playlist with as many songs as you wish that others can access with just one click on your homepage. Also you can easily upload your favorite music as well.
