Is this the Twilight Of America?
There are whispers and shouts taking place all over America right this second. They are in our homes, on military bases, in boardrooms and in classrooms. My friends we are indeed witnessing a scenario that may very well throw America into the Second American Revolution. This is not a joke.
Like You I Love Our Country
There comes a time in a person’s life when they can stand back and reflect upon their neighborhood, family, state and even nation. I am a 39 year old divorced male living in New York City. I’m just another Joe the Plumber, except you can call me Mike the Business owner.
I am the proud father of a 4 year old son who I get to see on a part time basis thanks to his Mom and I divorcing a few years back. I love him more than anyone or anything on this earth. Like you with your children I will do anything I have to do secure his future.
You are not alone
I am here to tell you that you are not alone. Not by a long shot. The whispers at the dinner table that you now have, the debates in the office and on military bases are as real for me as they are for you. Here are just a few examples of real people who have independently contacted me to ‘whisper’ of the coming Revolution.
‘Steve’ an old Army buddy from 1991 called me up and said to me ‘Will you be ready when your nation calls?’ I was floored I must admit. I was frozen knowing instantly what he meant. In my silence in what seemed like minutes of just dead air my eyes teared up and I finally said ” You too huh”.
‘Uncle Jack’ - one of my favorite Uncles ever. He calls me up and says ” We have to do something”. Again without any knowledge that he would be calling and on what topic I said ” We’re not alone Uncle Jack. The whispers grow. America will not fall”
‘Officer Steve’ of the NYPD “I just bought me an AR15, there’s a great gun sale going on and gun sales are going through the roof all over America. Do you know what is about to happen?”
Now what I just wrote will have three reactions depending on who you are and what you believe or have been told or propagandized to believe. The group I am speaking to understands what I am saying. We know in our hearts and minds ahead of time what I write here.
The Silent Majority has A Minority that Will Fight
This entails I’d say at least 30% of the population of America. These are the patriots who know the step by step play-book of Socialists and their quest for power. We represent about 60% of the population but only a brave 30% are the people who will do anything needed to defend our families and this great nation of ours.
Let me paint a scenario here that unfortunately seems all too likely if we see Barack Obama as our President come January. It is frightening but the possibility of it taking place in the not-so-distant future is very very high if Obama is to win. I’m still hoping this is all a nightmare. But What if…
Note: I am not threatening anyone. Particularly any Presidential candidate. I am merely stating facts on a ‘What if’ scenario that I and now millions of Americans now feels is even likely sometime within Barack Obama’s first term as our beloved leader. I really don’t want to be visited by the Secret Service for my little ‘What If’ scenario. Consider the following a simple tale of What if our Constitutional rights are attacked?

On January 22, 2009 Barack Hussein Obama is sworn in as the 43rd President of the United States. Sometime within his first term this is but one event that can light the spark of the 2nd American Revolution.
The Spark That Will Set it Off
Let us say that sometime in March of 2009 there is a mass murder in Indiana. A small school sees a masked gunman break in and kill 15 children, sparking outrage by parents the world over. Much like this or see a list of them in the US.The point being that this isn’t a rare thing.

My Fellow Americans,
It is with great horror as well as sadness that I address you tonight. Once again innocent children have been cut down before they’ve even lived. Once again it is a gun that is the weapon of mass destruction, wielded by a madman.
This did not have to happen. As President I pledge that this will never happen again (Spectacular Applause will follow wherever he is) .
We have reached a time in our civilization where we need to protect those that are the most vulnerable. We owe our children to never give a criminal or deviant the chance to pull off such a despicable act. (More applause)
I propose that Congress immediately take up a bill to outlaw all private gun ownership, or at the very least severely restrict private gun ownership to the Military, police and other law enforcement officials. With Speaker Pelosi beautifully running the House of Representatives and Senator Harry Reid doing his patriotic duty in the Senate, I believe we can get almost immediate action on this, and forever save our children. I’m calling it the Put our Children First Bill, and God help any Republican who votes against saving our children.

Barack can actually pull it off thanks to Democratic domination even today of the Congress and Senate. Do you trust him with that much power?
As I said knowing how frequent crazies have done such acts, plus add to this Barack has plenty of friends in the Middle East. He can easily get one nut to go into a school to create his own pretext to making this bold and yet still normal move of socialists intent on keeping power. What are you going to do about it?
Are you among those timid creatures who will just rationalize and say “Well Europe has restrictive gun laws and Japan has only 5 murders a year because they have no private ownership” If this is you, then you do not understand anything that I am writing here. More than likely you think I am nuts telling you that such a large percentage of Americans are actually thinking and saying right now. Go elsewhere as I address the Patriots.
For the rest of you who are participating in the Whispers. The time to fight will be at hand when this is tried. That will be the rallying cry across our great land. In every city and in every state, the people of this great land will rise up and indeed we will be seeing the beginning of the Second America Revolution.
We are Americans and as such we will not go quietly into the night. We will not succumb to the expected tactics and gun prohibition that has enabled the murder of tens of millions of people just in the last 100 years.
Don’t think it cannot happen here. It is happening right before your eyes.

I’ve had a few friends say such things. We aren’t there yet, Obama will not win. We don’t have to go that route. What if though I have a feeling that police officers, soldiers and every day average Americans will also fight rather than let America descend into totalitarianism.

Obama will win the election. But he will not try to take your guns away (or mine). What he will do, however, is begin to restore the Constitutional rights that we have all surrendered under the current administration. We will also begin to regain our rightful position as world leader in education, research and tech, global economy and the richest nation with the highest standard of living. All things that we have fallen of in under Bush. And all your talk of “socialism” is nothing but hogwash. For one, Bush has already taken the most socialistic step in US history by nationalizing the banks. The trickle down economic philosophy is a proven failure, economies work better from the bottom up.
What is your most valuable right as a US citizen?
If you answered that question with anything other than your right to vote maybe you need to re-examine what America is all about.

Patrick - Bush didn’t cause the financial meltdown. First off are you forgetting the biggest charge that Republicans had against Bush? That he signed ever damned bill Congress gave him. That is my issue too. He went along with the Democrats with everything. As far as the real reasons for the crash it is the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) which the Democrats passed in its strong version while Clinton was in office in 1993).
They basically forced private banks to issue sub-prime loans to high risk people. Under penalty of fine, they had no choice. Then the banks got greedy since these high risk mortgages were backed by your tax dollars via Fannie Mae. Get it? Rich guys at Goldman Sachs and banks loved the Democratic CRA since they made $$ with the full backing of the US government. To answer your question my most valuable right is my right to bear arms. The 2nd amendment is the enforcement part of keeping the rest safe from tyranny. Only potential tyrants talk of gun control.

In addition to what jesus just said, Barack will win and he will not pass a bill removing all our guns. Your what-if scenario is ridiculous, and your support for why it’s plausible isn’t support at all, just a list of times when private gun ownership would have helped.
I came from MA originally, and I was very against guns, but in my time in VA, my views on gun control have changed slightly. I am glad; as the writer of this post is that we have the ability to privately own guns. It was Thomas Jefferson, who said,

And I couldn’t agree more. With that said though, the fact that private citizens can own pistols (concealable killing machines), is just stupid.
The point I’m trying to make is that, I agree if Barack tries to take our guns, we need to, and will, revolt against the government. But I think it is far more likely that a citizen will take their legally owned gun and try to kill the half black-half Arab president than to assume Obama will try to fuck with the 2nd amendment of the constitution

I’m a brand new member. Having just bought a Mini 14 on Friday, I thought this site might put me in contact with some others with common interests. Like everything else these days, I find it mostly political. At the risk of offending many that, I’m sure, would have much in common with me, should we get onto other topics, I’m in total agreement with Patrick.
Maybe I should tell you a little bit about myself. Though my family has little to do with who I am - good or bad - there is a long line of patriots devoted to serving this nation who stretch back from my name. On my father’s side, I am descended from Samuel Huntington, signer of the Declaration of Independence, and thought of, in some circles, as the first President of this Nation. The office of President was created by the ratification of the Constitution, and in the interim years between those documents, Declaration and Constitutin, Gov. Huntington served as the first President of the Continental Congress.
On my mother’s side (her maiden name was Mossman), her cousin, Alfred Mossman Landon, was the Republican nominee for President in 1936. For those of you in the Southwest, my great uncle was Capt. Burton C. Mossman, founder of the Arizona Rangers and the first of only three men to wear the badge of Captain of that organization. My family has served honorably in every war this country has waged; including pre-Revolutionary skermishes.
Having established that, George Bush, and his administration has been a disaster for this country, and Alf Landon is spinning like an underground top. And don’t blame a Democratic Congress. Bush had a Republican Congress for his first six years, and an obstructive, bare minority for the last two.
As for Obama, both of the candidates are moving to the center lately, on 2nd amendment issues, which is where most politicians end up. I honestly think that if Brady himself were elected President, there would be no major threat to gun ownership in this country. Comparing the range of restrictions (or lack thereof), between California and Pennsylvania, is about the limits one might expect nationwide. I’ve lived both places, and I’ll guarantee that there are more pistol and rifle ranges in Los Angeles than any other city in the USA. There are more citizens packing, too. They just don’t do it legally. It is just too central an issue to our democracy. Our Founding Fathers knew that the only true rein on the inevitable rise of a despot is an armed citizen with a mandate to protect his (women were still disenfranchised in those days) home and family. The other key element in their planning was that there should be no standing army in times of peace. The concept of a private security force did not even occur to them. I just cannot understand why armchair patriots sit still for the trashing of our 1st and 4th Amendments, while quacking in anticipation of any threat to the 2nd. If they pick you up, and lock you up, without cause or access to legal consul (which is not only possible, but LEGAL now) I don’t think they’re going to let you take your guns to camp.
I don’t know if many Americans are truly aware of the most unique feature of our nation. We did not evolve from a common ancestry, culture, belief, ethnicity or any other common bond. America was founded on an idea. An ideal, that is taking a long time to realize, (and I do hope we make it). I won’t go into the differences between the policies of Truman v. Bush on how to introduce our ideal to millenia-old, ethnocentric cultures that were formed on commonalities, but one plan worked and the other did not.
So, I guess that as long as the 1st and 4th Amendments are suspended, and BlackWater continues to grow, and be deployed domestically, I’ll keep tearing up paper at my local range. One might only choose to nuke frozen foods in a microwave, but it’s still a good idea to keep a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. That’s why I’m a member of both the ACLU and the NRA.
Speaking of security forces, and the many small, but powerful, government acronyms, these pose much more of a threat than do the slow moving politicians. The pistol range that I frequent when the weather is foul, is located beneath a very good gun shop. The range is still operating, but they have been banned from selling firearms for a six month period. They were shut down by the ATF on a very minor technicality - for not dotting every “i” and crossing every “t” in their paperwork. The ATF is much more of a threat to the 2nd amendment than the political posturing of any candidate.
So, New Friends, reread Patrick’s message. If, like me, you’re tired of being “trickled” upon, give Obama a chance. He just might be capable of putting us back on track to realizing that American Dream.

If the 1st Amendment is so sacred to the Democrats, why are they so eager to revive the Fairness Doctrine, which is nothing more than a legislative attempt to silence talk radio? The Bill of Rights declares that the basic rights defined are God given and cannot be taken away by government. That means all of them.

You are right on, Jon. Every word of the Constitution is essential to the idea that we were founded upon, and that binds us together. There are wing-nuts at both extremes that would attempt everything from shutting down talk radio to pulling Alaska out of the Union. Saner minds usually prevail.
My alarm bells are clanging away when respected journalists are arrested and jailed, without cause, and our phone conversations, e-mails and God-knows what else are being monitored. We have to stop living in fear. We have to stop this “Us v. Them” mentality, an get back to ignoring our differences and living the “idea” that formed us and holds us all together as a Nation.

I have but one statement and one question for you.
First, Obama need not confiscate guns to acheive a goal that he and his friend George Soros having been attempting to reach for the past several years. A simple tax of 400-500%, as he has already proposed, would effectivly be a means to the same end. Like Europe only the wealthy would be able to buy “hunting” ammunition.

9mm is the most popular pistol ammo. Personal favorite is a baby desert eagle. Colt, Beretta, Rugar, Smith & Wesson & Springfield all make good quality firearms.
A 12 ga. pump is your best home defense firearm, Remington and Mossberg have some very popular models.

It could be called the “Boston Tea” Party dedicated to a return to the economic, legal, and tax structure, found during the earlier days of our country, when people did secure their rights against oppression.

I am a small town white male. I refuse to appologize to anyone for that. I didn’t choose my place/time/race/status of my birth, just as no one else here did. I’m proud of my heritage and my family. Growing up, I was taught patriotism and respect for the constitution. I love this country and would die defending it. I must say that I hope and pray that it never comes to having to have a “second revolution”. The cost would be astronomical. I chose a career in law enforcment and I am an extremely staunch supporter of the 2nd Ammendment. But the second is only one of many ammendments that should be supported by all Americans. Everyone wants to argue over what is most important. My freedom to live as I choose as long as it doesn’t violate someone elses right to do so, is the most important thing to me. I don’t want anyone pushing their beliefs on my and I don’t push mine on someone else. If you violate the law, I act accordingly. That is my job. As long as there are extremist on either side of the equation, we are all in danger. I hope and pray that, as another writer previosly stated, “saner minds prevail”. A prominent Russian Scientist who’s name escapes me said that Russia is just waiting for the inauguration, that within six months to a year we will separate into 6 or more country states similar to Europe and the US will be no more. I think his time frame is a little short but I’ve heard talk of sessession(SP) more than once.

I have two children that I love very much….I am not going to stand by anymore and watch my freedoms, your freedoms or our children’s freedom taken away. George - it is not time for the last resort. Yes the nation is economically being destroyed, but we did vote the man in after all. We brought it all on ourselves by letting a biased media print and say what they want, or in the case of MSNBC and CBS and the NY Times simply making up the news.

Do not act as the population of the United States will not act with you until Obama makes his dictatorial moves. But what I urge is every american to organize with me in Washington…at capitol hill…with your guns in hand. When the government retaliates….that will spark all that America needs to see. I understand the IP trace…and as someone who works on Computers in their own business…..well…ip’s can be faked….I am not calling for a war….but The Federal Government is…I am simply saying…let’s answer their question about our patriotism. George I’m not saying I’m not with you. Just that Obama needs to at least try to sneak in legislation to create his police force first ) a big possibility now that no one reads the bills in Congress at all). If he does this and/or in addition enacts anti-gun legislation we would have months before any action is taken.
I think America needs him to do this first before you will be joined with great masses of people.
Right now if you do this, even if you think it is justified you are going up against a great many Americans who have their heads in the sand or have no idea of what just took place and what Obama is doing.

Wait until Obama does these things. He can pass the act to create his police force, but it will take months to fill the ranks. He can pass a law to outlaw guns, but you can say no. If we get millions more Americans to agree to never give up their guns, we can make Obama fire the first shot and then with righteous anger he will be destroyed by you and me and most Americans I believe by that point.
What do you think? Just think how better you will be off if you waited until he makes a move like that. We are saying it ahead of time, we are not doing anything illegal. All we are saying is if Obama does do a power grab we will not sit still. If gun confiscations start in any way, well then I see a real Revolution.
I have a feeling we will see yet another stimulus bill filled with BS, and enough to get many on our side as the economy sinks further into oblivion from the fear he has put in investors.
Whatever happens I just don’t want to read about or see you on TV with 20 friends getting cut down in the streets by SS ( Secret Service).
It may very well come to this but I think you stand a far better chance if we let him do much more damage. It will not take long either. Watch the unemployment rate go higher and higher ( I guarantee you!) just in the next month. We could pass 8% and go even to 9% as ridiculous as that sounds, in less than a month! Americans need more convincing and Obama is doing all he can to help.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The president does.
You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices. 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, Congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing us that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it’s because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in the red .
If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it’s because they want them in IRAQ.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like “the economy,” “inflation,” or “politics” that prevent them from doing what they each took an oath to do.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!
btw - my Father retired from the Army and Army National Guard when he reached retirement age.
He was recently ‘rehired’ to perform his old job (8 years later) since his replacements were sent to Iraq
I found his email; which is probably a forward from some other source, ironic and obvious in it’s simple truths.

Wow!!! I just found this site. I was sent here from the Glenn Beck “WE Surround Them” site.
It has really opened my eyes because for many years I have believed that it would come to something like this.
I’ve been ready with lawers, guns and money since 1992. No really, MREs, guns, ammo and survival gear.
Started planning when Saddam started shooting Scud Missiles at Israel back in Dessert Shield. I thought for sure that Israel would nuke him and it would be the beginning of the end.
I never thought in a million years that the threat within would come straight from the Oval Office. This is nuts! But we are not alone. Half or more of the people on Beck’s site are talking revolution. I’ve never seen it this bad.
Alot of them think we can still solve it peacefully but I’m really beginning to think it’s too late for that.
Good to know that there are like minded people out there. When the time comes we will need as many Patriots as we can muster.
I pray it never comes to that but the clouds are dark and the night even darker.

I also wanted to say to George that now is the time to plan….to recruit….to organize…. and to to do the things that will become necessary if BO has his way. We are going to have a logistical nightmare on our hands. Let talk, as I have been doing a little of this alrady and theree is no reason to reinvent the wheel. There are a great number of others all over the country that I and others have been in touch with; and there are an even greater number of them who are already in position. This battle will not be about shooting as much as it will be about being ready to face the trials. Lack of preparation will be our downfall. The feds have supplies out the butt stashed away, and will be able to recruit with food if nothing else. So we will neeed to be ready and have our own plan. They have the cash, and we don’t!
We have righteousness, but that will go only so far! Keep in mind, we can very close to losing our fight with the British during the First Revolution, on more than one occasion! I posted my cell number, this way I can throw it away at a later date. They will have already known who I am anyway by the time the balloon goes up! Again, lets talk!
And, btw Ms Moderator, I love your blog! It really works! As I am sure you are already aware, this 2nd Revolution will require its own Thomas Paine. Are you she???

Let me be perfectly clear to all that read the articles hear. We are advocating saving the United States of America and freedom itself by exercising our Constitutional right to bear arms.
If we can get millions upon millions of Americans to agree ( many millions already have, via many groups and militias, and even the NRA), then if ever gun confiscations start and Obama ends our Constitutional right to bear arms, well then it’s on.
Honestly if he can destroy our Constitution due to the conditions that he is bringing about in our country via taxation, giving money to terrorists in Gaza, letting known terrorists go from Gitmo, well then who would say I’m wrong?
If this happens yes there will be a Revolution in the United States.
