Too often we lose sight of life’s simple pleasures
By admin on Feb 26, 2008 in Blogging, Laugh Break, Offbeat, Personal
This gave me one of the best laughs when I first saw it in 2000. That’s a Long time ago already. You think it is some deep philosophical statement that will make you feel all nice and cozy inside. The surprise is what makes it so funny.
Department of Fun and Laughs
This week is all but 2 days old and already some old favorites and some new funny things are coming our way. If anyone wants to submit a photo or set and get a link back for it or whatever, send it to webmaster @ earthfrisk.com
First we come to some original ‘False Advertising’ ads. Spoofs of real ads form the great folks at Parody Advertisement, from the cool people at www.organique.com

I used to love RadioShack until they made it policy to ask for your address and phone number every damn time you go in to get batteries. I got tired, played around a few times when they insisted. I made up addresses, phone numbers etc. Then I went to just saying bypass. Bypass, over and over and over. Leave me alone already. I never went back.

Bottled Water Lover are you?
If you currently buy bottled water due to health reasons, a lot of smoke has been blown up your a*s. That means it’s BS to buy bottled water, especially if you live in a major city like New York with far superior water to the bottled kind. Hard to believe right? Check this out for a humorous look at this all. Penn and Teller did a whole episode on bottled water. Reality will hit hard if you see this.
If you buy bottled water or know someone who does, you have to see these on YouTube

Back to the Fake Advertisements…

Is there anyone in America that hasn’t wasted $5 almost on a cup of coffee at you-know-where? I actually feel insulted going in there when almost any other option is available.

Yup that is what people get if they down too much alcohol.

I know a few people who have taken prozac. This is funny because it is so factual for so many people. It’s like we have millions of bi-polar maniacs running around with many in my own family.

I saw this one on a big boned woman in Florida. It was submitted by PhillyAngie

Admit it. At times you wanted to shoot or blow up these damned smileys.
Who remembers a time when this was what 10mb sold for? By the way, it is free today such a small amount of MB. It’s given away even in throw away items.

Politically Incorrect reaction to the following photo from me I guess when I say that these a**holes need a damned nuke dropped right on top of them. Pisses me off to see celebrating planes going into the Twin Towers and making a celebration and sandcastles and having a grand party. Yeah I know, since I live in NY I can hear people chime in with ” We caused it”. That kind of BS makes me sick to hear.

Can you just see it, right on top of their damned sand castle

Enough with the violence.
This next one is scary when you read it. If I were in that boat though I’d crap or piss my pants.

That’s a photo from India,where i live.
It ISN’T A CELEBRATION.
The photo is from a sand sculpture contest.Artists
come from all over India for this and express their thoughts on the world around us via art.
I can understand what pissed you off.
WHY?
Because we lose far more citizens every year than you do because of terrorism. And this has been going on since 1980s.WHILE YOU PEOPLE HAVE BEEN REALIZING IT FOR JUST FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS.
We know how you feel about 9/11.Trust me,none of us wants to make fun of it.We have seen MANY disasters and tolerated people making fun of our problems for a long time now ; and those people include some in the white house.

Prateek – Thanks for the correction. Had I investigated further I would have caught that.
You’re right, India is not our enemy. I guess I just have an instant reflex for when people are constantly putting America down.
I know you guys lose many people every year thanks to the situations all over the country, like in Kashmir. Terrorism can blind anyone I guess.
As for India, I know many people in India and even have quite a few employees all over the country. Indians are some of the nicest and coolest people around.
Again thanks for the correction.
