EarthFrisk is a User controlled community with very little admin input just to keep the boardsclean of smut and excessive spam. We are a Social Bookmarking, Social Networking and Social Media Hybrid website where you can do anything that you can do on the larger sites such as MySpace, Bebo as well as Reddit and more. Here at EarthFrisk it is you that picks what others will see first based on your own likes and dislikes. Here you can discuss things that matter to you and share videos, articles and posts about nearly anything on earth. We welcome those who have used us to save their favorite links as well as see what others think of them.

In a nutshell, here at EarthFrisk

First - You join ( and can stay anonymous if you'd like - you control access to your photos, videos and profile page. You can see what your fellow EarthFriskers have brought to the site. Pick a category that you are interested in and explore the best the planet has to offer. Our members get around, and you will see things here that you have never seen before, or ever even heard of. From Videos and Photos to creating your own playlists, and background for your profile page.

Second - You can find features and links from around the world and share them with members here. You can post video, articles and links to any site that you find interesting or is making news. You can even link to ALL of your other social networking site homepages in one location right in your profile. This gives you easy access to them all without having to deal with this site or that site's policies of not placing links on your pages.

Third - You can post your own pictures and form your own groups via our new social community. An advantage to our site above other social sites is not only can you see what others look like, but you can read their comments on various subjects. Seeing them participate on the boards with voting on various videos and articles as well as links really helps you to get to know someone.

Fourth - You can create whole pages here with links to your site or sites of interest. You can even submit articles that others can vote on and read as well as discuss.

Fifth - We are continuously improving. Next up for November is Chat, Cross platform access with Google's new Open Social and more!

Logistics of layout

A New Frisk is where your submitted entries go. They start with one vote, your own. If they hit 12 votes (as of November 2007 12 is number needed) then the entry lands on the Hot Frisk pages.

There is an entire database of just Hot Frisks and the numbered pages on the bottom of each page reflect only entries that had 10 or more votes.

The same applies to the New Frisk section. The pages numbers on the bottom are filled with entries that did not make it to 10 votes.

The Articles directory is a separate grouping divided by categories as well as by popular vote, with the highest number of votes on page 1.

The Create A Page Section is also completely independent, where there is no voting on pages created.

You can create your own groups anytime here as of November 2007.
