If only 49 percent of the population has a good education, then 51 percent of the population does not... and are likely to be heavily influenced by corporate propaganda!!! The solution to almost all of our problems is a good education and the solution to the rest of our problems is publicly funded elections. Do you really want BIG PhRMA or Exxon-Mobil pulling the strings of our presidential puppets? A properly educated public wouldn't be apathetic like most Americans are, but would be out in the streets DEMANDING that the Government represent the PEOPLE who elected them and NOT the corporations who bribe them!!
